James. R. Clark, Ph.D is a Licensed Psychologist and has been in practice in Rochester and Monroe County since 1979.

Education:

· B.A. - Pomona College, Claremont, CA
· M.A. and Ph.D. - University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ
· Internship - Langley Porter Neuropsychiatric Institute (UCSF), San Francisco, CA

Honors:

· By the Monroe County Government in 1985 and again in 2000 for his work in reducing violence against
     Monroe County Employees.
· The 1995 recipient of the Linda Mills Community Service Award.
· The 1997 Genesee Valley Psychologist of the Year.

Dr. Clark was a Captain in the U. S. Army and served as a psychologist in the Medical Service Corp.

After coming to Rochester he was the Chief Psychologist and later the Director of Monroe County’s Mental Health Clinic for Socio-Legal Services.

He has maintained a private practice as a Psychologist since 1984.
